A.lennardi!!!

Hey guys,

So just a little update. The trio handled their first round of Prazi like champs and they're just starting their 3rd transfer round. Just one more Prazi round and into my observation system they will go! Now I have to figure out how catch my male femininus.

Wow that is awesome man. Yeah it would be a shame if even 1 didn't make it through the QT process, because that trio looks stunning.

Great to see Wayne. An amazing fish collection you have there. Just curious, between all your tanks, how much SW do you go through a week?

Thanks guys! Mike, I only change the water in my reef tank weekly, 50 gallons. With my other systems, I change them every 2-3 weeks. When that happens I go through about 200 gallons.

So the trio made it through TTM and 2 rounds of Prazi like champs. They went into my observation system this morning and I could tell they loved it right away. They also immediately ate so that's a good sign. No more sterile bare bottom tanks with only pvc to hide in. They've got live rock to pick at and a 2" sand bed to sleep in. They're keeping my pintail Earlie wrasse company too.

Now I've got 2 months to figure out how to catch my male Femininus!

Well I'm in Santa Monica so we don't get as hot. But my chiller does run a lot during the summer cuz I run 3x400w Mh. It's 1hp tho so it doesn't take as long to cool the water down. And we probably run the AC like 10 days total thoughout the year.

Hey everyone, sorry it's been long since I've updated! So out of the trio, I have one very large and fat one left! I have found that raising multiple Lennardi are quite similar to the multiple femininus that I've raised before.

They all get along peacefully at first, but one becomes dominant and territorial and bullies the rest until they just hide in the sand and never come out again. I think my tank may not be long enough at 5.5'. I know of people who have successfully raised multiple femininus long term in longer 8' tanks.

Anyway, I was planning to clean my tank today so I'll post pics/videos after.

Happy New Year!
