A little Expensive, but REAL nice Chiller!!!

First time I'm seeing anything like this in this large a scale. I've seen them much smaller for Nanos but never for larger tanks. Any opinions?

If it's got nice fans, it'll be dead silent. Imagine that... A dead silent chiller.... Only problems would be that it probably needs high flow, and probably puts out a lot of heat since those peltiers put out tons of heat. O yea, and expensive as crap

People have taken small refrigerators and coiled tubing inside of them as a DIY chiller.

This actually "appears" plausable. I'm sure someone, somewhere has already tried a transmission cooler.

I wonder what the outcome was.

If your talking about the Chiller I posted up it runs at a max of 200watts.

It will work but it will not be cost effective to run a chiller like you are describing. Too much BTUs will be lost in heat trasfer. The idea is to have a very efficient heat transfer to water.

hey o Agios so if i were to coil up some titanium tubing and throw a nice size fan on it i could make a chiller like the one poster for far less ?
