a miracle delivery... need advice

If you can't grow SPS with this trick setup, it's the SPS's fault, not yours.
lol, hahha, that is funny, hahaha, your way nice!!!

Looks amazing. It's kinda neat that your tank and mine will pretty much be polar opposites: Wicked cool skimmer vs. none. In wall vs. rimless. T5 vs. LEDs. We've got the whole realm of possibilities spanned. :D
this is all exciting that our builds are opposites, hope it all comes out well. personally, i think your build is much more creative, who would think you can build a tank out of plywood, as mines is pretty much purchased :)

The similarity is that there are MANY of us that can't wait to see both when they are complete!
:lol2:

looks like our bangaii pair is going at it again, i figure i share some pic of the previous batch :)

Not to get off topic, but how do bangaii do with other cardinals? I want a school of "active" cards in my tank (threadfin maybe?) but I love bangaii, too. . .
sorry, i got a bit off topic, was excited becuase i think my wife got the breeding process down closer, yesterday she said they are going to spawn, and today i just found out the male got a mouth full of eggs!

i am not sure how the bangaii do with other cardinals, ours seem to do well with the current tank mate we have, they pretty much just hover around. with a tank your size i think you should have many "colleges" of fish

that stand looks spectacular. very, very impressive. I can't wait to see this running.
thank you!

update:
miracles did put the tank on the truck, made it passed customs, on its way to PA, bypassing Syracuse NY, its did this last time, will be here friday! communicated with the shipper, got the movers lined up, got the entire day off from work, now lets try lottery!

i cannot wait to see this! you have got to be feeling like a little kid...
yup, yesterday i was feeling that, everything was lining up easy, no more worries about tank weight-how to unload it, ect... movers said "dont worry, well do everything" :D

how long lang ?
i think we have been waiting 2 whole months for the 4x4x2, but the tank should be arriving this friday

since the glass pane is 3/4" i dont use the "spacer"(sticked one),
so do i use the thin black plastic one?
i would use it on the outside of the tank?

thanks for any advice!

From what I can see from the users manual, you would just put the dry gasket directly on the motor assembly - this would keep the motor assembly from scratching the glass when you stick the two parts together. But, you are correct, with 3/4" glass you do not use the pin spacer.

Kind of a bummer that your brand new VorTechs don't have the new controller. Are you eligible for a free upgrade since you just bought them?
