Doug,

I have one you can have... I'm currently using it to hold up the portable Air Conditioner/Dehumidifier we got a few months ago.

Be any any chance would you have a small table I could trade with you for it? I need something to put in its place.

Thanks,

Hmmm - not hmoe to look around yet - will be tomorrow. Off the top of my head I think I have a folding table/card table - but I dont think that will be sturdy enough. How much weight dows it have ro support and how pretty does it have to be? I have one maybe three by three but the top is beyond repair - and I;d have to cut a new wood top for it out of plywood or something around. Let me know - what you need and I'll take a look around and see what I have...

Doug,

Pretty doesn't matter... I can always cover it with a towel (LMAO -- obviously my favorite interior decorating tool of choice). But, it has to support I would say about 60 to 70 lbs.

2' x 2' (or slightly larger should be good... oh, and perhaps two to three feet tall).

ok - im driving tomorrow and over the next few days ill look around and either find something or take what I have and make it usable for you...

Sounds good Doug... and 'tis not really the A/C season right now, so I could disconnect the A/C unit for now and you can take the dehumidifier if you need it immediately.

I'm gonna be selling my 125. included will be stand, canopy, tank, 5 brand new t5 bulbs with sockets and reflectors (no ballasts)....I havent' worked out a price yet, but if anyone knows anyone who is interested, please let me know, i need to get this out of the apartment asap (this is so sad =(

well we can always laff and say ooompa loompa.

or we can just smoke out of the piece pipe and say HOW!.

or we can just **** in the tank to start a cycle as there is nothing else better to do.

or we could just forget it ever existed and leave it there till she gets real mad and say o yeah thats where i put it.

tons of suggestions now you just have to pick one :-p

Lonnie - I have a few things aronnd for you in trade- on top of everything ioncluding my post oil burner regurgitation clean up effort- I'll say I wont get to it until the weekend ;)

Ok my Keith impersonation again:

The Hostage Rescue is complete. The enemy made some very bad strategic moves in court, including vastly understimating the skill and determination of the rescue team (hey--I didn't know she could fight back !?!). The rescue team has been granted sole custody of the target.

Thanks to all--

sweet at least im rubbing off on someone

now we need to execute operation payback
get me the ssn and address and we can have state troops pickup the package on the grounds of something inventive and comical.

Christine,

Congratulations. Please give me a call ASAP (I'll PM you my number).

For the others wishing Christine well: we all know Chrsitine and her son have been through a great deal, especially given the time of the year. And noone probably means any real harm with what they might say publicly here on this or any other board. But please let me offer all a word to the wise: the less said on a public forum about the situation, the better off all will be. In 1994 my son's mother posted her version of what happened in court and the outcome to a bbs. A number of people flocked to her aid, one even said I should be castrated based on what she said. That person posted from a jpl.nasa.gov email address. In-turn, rather than react publicly to what was said, I contacted the facility security manager at jpl, explained the situation, forwarded the post in question, and sent him a certified copy of the post and an official complaint. Needless to say he was very apologetic, and the gentleman in question was immediately terminated for cause, especially given the fact that jpl was trying to get a handle on that kind of personal use of their network at the time.

Child custody issues are very sensitive issues, wrought with emotion from the many different parties privvy to such an action. There's no telling how any of the involved parties might react if they were to come across the kind of info that was posted today. Christine has some close friends and family that will help see her though these troubling times; we can help her by saying what we want to behind PMs (if need be), and avoiding exasperating the situation in a public forum like this one.

Just some words from the wise,

jan

Jan--code! This thread is wrought with it--
Here see--let me translate for you--

Bill and Chris trading frags means, well, let's just say they like to really get to know each other's tanks. Ray too.

Doug and I aren't really brother and sister--it's a front for a secret UN military operation.

Keith isn't really talking in code--it's a cover--he's really committed to a long term mental health facility for flight-of-ideas.

Chuck really is a woman.

Watch avatars--they're a code in and of themselves.

Konrad: one "word":
