Okay, so it isn't a fish store, but I wanted to promote a good firend of mine's new restaurant on the corner of Macon and Houston Levee. It's called Southern Crow Grille. If you're in the area and want to try something new, give him a shot. You won't be disappointed. I was there all day today helping him prep for the opening tonight. Everythign on the menu looks good (and everything I sampled was excellent). The owner is my best friend, and has been catering for several years with some of the larger financial institutions in Memphis. He finally got a chance to realize his dream.

They've got things like hamburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, catfish sandwiches, steaks (filet, ribeye, etc.), halibut, ettoufee, pasta dishes, shrimp and grits, and a ton of other stuff. He's an excellence chef, so give him a shot. The atmosphere is a good draw, too. He's starting small and plans to work seven days a week for a while, but if it works out for him, it'll all be worth it. It is very near the Kroger at the Macon/Houston Levee intersection. He has the best cheesecake I have ever had (and makes them at home). Sorry, just had to give him a plug.

sounds great, ill check em out tommorow. ill be helping my dad move to the corner of houston levee/macon so itll be convienent!

Dave - is that the place you were telling me about that you made a deal with to get rid of all the dead fish from the store? I will have to visit. I have always wanted to try damsel kabobs.

Yeah, the frog soup is coming soon;). Get it... Kermit's... frog soup... nudge nudge, wink wink;)
