i am buying a few things from Aneal on saturday he told me he will have his corals hopefully in a week,he was waiting on cycling....as far as pricing on things no one is even coming close...not even online :D
 
$ might be good, but EBAY fish is selling their stuff much cheaper than in the previous location and pretty close, if not matching any online pricing......

Is that before or after TAXES that you don't have to pay online. On big ticket Items it adds up.

ill find out tomorrow, it was not mentioned.....i had some things ordered (bulbs) and they are here, so this weekend my tank will have a new sun
 
EBAY fish is fine though id have to drive 3+ hours to get there lol kinda wates gas lol they may be good on prices but i know for sure BFD is awesome on hes so i guess we really only have 2 places with low prices,that is if BFD and EBAY can survive...if not then its just AC again and we are stuck with their prices or online
 
Who is BFD? Most people don't live way out there where you do, So It's kinda a moot point except for you. Seems you don't buy much anyway right now so no great loss.

And BRD only 15min away from ebay. I know eBay bets online price on most items. Don't know about BRD. Will find out tommorrow when go up there to check it out and setup a meeting for the club.
 
15 minutes away from EBAY...realy? guess mapquest got the directions wrong for me...either way bill i dont buy alot cause i dont need alot,if i had alot of money or not i still wouldnt buy alot....dont see the point anyways BRD is barrier reef depot thats only minutes from AC and if EBAY does comp online prices and such then like i said before there are 2 places we can go to for low prices
 
Really, seriously, what's the point. Do you get paid for advertising for barrier reef? Seems like a couple on here might.

So there's another store to shop at. Critter, Ebay, or now - Barrier Reef.

i think i could speak for a few on here...no i dont get paid for anything but when i can buy 50g IO salt mix for 10 bucks and everyone else has it for much more then guess where im gonna go buy at....if i can buy big turbo snails for 50cents and others sell em for 1.50+ then who am i gonna go with....for the ones on this site and in the club that are on a budget we appreciate a place with lower prices....most of us,atleast i dont have money growing on a tree....either way we all win,more stores means better prices agross the board
 
I ended up going to AC. I did find an awesome piece of live rock. It has quite a few sponges and a nice gorgonian on it. I will be making a trip back soon and look for both of the other stores.
 
OK - stupid question from newbie... EBAY Fish? Is that like on ebay.com? Or is that the name of the place? Can someone give me the URL?

Key Word being Reef, Not tank with some snails worms and the like. I understand If you can not afford to have a tank but why do you pose to guide people to places you have no knowledge whatsoever about, And then want to say you speak for people on this board??? Personally I would guess anyone selling a box of Salt for 10.00 is doing so at a loss or breaking even at best, That's called a sales Gimmick to get people in your store!
As BRD is not a sponser of RC i really don't know why they haven't closed this thread.

Geesh, Just saw it's a 50gal mix for 10.00 (That's 40.00 a case) You can Buy IO 200gal mix for around 36.00 at all stores FYI

lol im outa this cause it seems as if ive said something wrong or some crap,i was not aware that its against anything to just say someone has low prices on what have you and whatnot last time i looked petco is not a sponsor of the site either but everytime they have their 1g per gallon on tanks sale its always mentioned here and no right now i do not have a reef you are correct, but i wasnt aware that i'd have to in order to tell a few friends on this site about deals on corals,chemicals,food,fish,inverts and other things pertaining to this hobby and FYI BRD is barrier reef depot
 
last comment i promise because i dont really like the comment made that this thread should be closed...if it is then it is but i did not start this thread it was started back in june and everyone that posted were very excited about a new store opening up.....HAPPY REEFING folks in out of this thread

Wow, that's really cheap. We cannot get the box at that price anywhere around North Alabama. I just paid $41.99 for a 200 gal box with a special discount. One store down here charges twice as much.
