lol im outa this cause it seems as if ive said something wrong or some crap,i was not aware that its against anything to just say someone has low prices on what have you and whatnot last time i looked petco is not a sponsor of the site either but everytime they have their 1g per gallon on tanks sale its always mentioned here and no right now i do not have a reef you are correct, but i wasnt aware that i'd have to in order to tell a few friends on this site about deals on corals,chemicals,food,fish,inverts and other things pertaining to this hobby and FYI BRD is barrier reef depot

Your desire to help others is appreciated. It was only questioned when so many new threads and posts appeared on here advertising for a club member who started their own store. Every chance you had you made a comment for the new store. Everyone knows who started said store and it's amusing to me that people act like they don't, and it's some big surprise that it exists.

I think a number of you are misinterpreting the rules here.
We take issue with people that benefit from posting about a certain vendor/retailer, or those that shill for them. It's fine to mention a deal you saw, IE: Petco's famous $1 per gallon sale. Mentioning a $36.00 box of IO is fine as well, providing that you don't benefit by doing so. If your brother, father girlfriend, etc own the store, you are not permitted to shill for them here. If you work there, you are not permitted to shill for them here. If they give you discounts for posting about them, you are not permitted do do so for them here.
Our aim is to keep the site as commercial free as we can, and we strive to prevent misinformation like you may be tempted to post if you get some benefit from doing so.
A vendor/retailer does not have to be a sponsor of Reef Central for their name to be mentioned here, but there are plenty that have been added to our censored list because of shilling.

Well I certainly was under the wrong Impression, But I still want to know who is BFD and not BRD as you stated many times as an answer??? So Members/Former Members can get free advertising for their business on RC and there are no repercussions? Looks like Rhett @ Lighthouse Corals has missed out on all the free gossip on here because it was thought to be a No No Go Figure!
I can't remember the exact price but Pet smart has cheap Salt prices on Coralife 45.00 150gal mix and IO also but I'm not sure of the price. The Critter actually has it as cheap as anywhere with the club discount also.
Now I just have to mention that Sean @ Ebayfish always had the cheapest IO price of all so Check him out too.

My thoughts on price are if its machanical and the same product go with the cheaper one. If it's a living creature cheaper is not always better. Honestly most of the time if I see a cheaper item that I know should sale for quiet a bit more I am reluctant to buy it.
