A pic of my 75 g today 1 year details.

Nirol, I have my light balast mounted in a storage room that is right next to the room my tank is in. The small black boxes are night lights. There is one fan in the canpy , you can see part of it in the pic showing the sea swirls, it is behind the white union.
Ni dimmer
Lights are on actnics for 12 hours , all 4 lights for 10 hours, the moonlights are on the other 12 hours. refugium lighted reverse lighting of the main tank.

And here is a pic of my new coral

Tony... thanks again for the answers. I do recall pics of your fish room and the two ballasts on the wall. so the two hour difference in the lights is to simulate dusk and dawn I guess...what time do they come on and go off?

Hi Tony!!! Just wondering, have you ever thought about doing and gorognians? I have some and they are doing great. I love the height to them and the colors are awesome. Just wondering.

Hi AEA , tell me about your gorgs.
I have thought about them , but have read some need to be fed , some are like other corals and use light. What kind do you have?
What is the care like for them?

Niro, if you have the lights as close as mine are to the water you need a fan, they are hot close to them.

Tony, I have two species of Photosynthedic gorgonians, and both are doing great. I do not feed them anything other than lighting, and they are thriving. Those that need to be target-fed tend to not fare as well, but they are not impossible to keep. Amanda has one that is doing great last time I checked.

They are beautiful additions to a reef. Here is one of mine:

I have the red gorgonian and the purple gorgonian. The purple is physynthic but the red is a filter feeder. They are both beautiful and doing great!!

Tony, I live in Tunkhannock for 3 years (near Scranton).

Keep up the great job. Love the indoor goldfish pond. Are they permanent there or in for the winter?
