A pic of my 75 g today 1 year details.

My Naso wasnt a small baby when I got it, I would say it was 3-4".
She eats anything. I feed flake food Formula One, and Green Ocean Nutrition Seaweed select. One large piece a day of the seaweed folded on clip.

I just moved my alveopora flowerpot that has been growing in its same place for 2 years. The RBTA has gotten too big since adding MH , and it has been stinging the flower pot for months. It was very hard to move, it had calcified into all the surrounding rocks. I hope it makes it threw the move ok.

Here is a pic my clowns with their eggs.

Excellent pictures, how long will it take the clown eggs to hatch?

I just love your hammer corals, here is a picture of the one I picked up yesterday, I hope it does well in my tank.

Just checking on my tank and found the reefkeeper said the water temp was 85, my water is never that hot , it always stays at 80. So the reefkeeper had the fan gowing to cool it down, I felt the water , it didnt fel warm. I have my heater pluged into my reefkeeper to turn on when the reefkeeper says water is over 80, so of course my heater was turned off and I could not get a temp reading from it. So I unpluged the heater from the reefkeeper and pluged it into a regular outlet , it read 75. So my reefkeeper not only was displaying the wrong temp but was turning my fan on to cool it more . I thought I was safe with the heater pluged into the reefkeeper, two temp probes instead of one, boy was I wrong. So now i will leave the heater plugged into outlet untill the reefkeeper gets fixed. I think I will get a third temp probe now with some kind of alarm.

I just have a colored stick on in the back right corner, and have my one 300w heater set at 76 which really means 81 I am thinking, since my tank stays pretty much between 81-83. It runs 81 at night with the lights off which is entirely the heater keeping the tank warm, and up to about 83 during the day with the MH on. I definately have a completely manual system when it comes to top-off, temp and everything else I do with it. I actually like being in complete control with all the mishaps I hear about automatic equipment failing and people losing a bunch of stuff in there tanks.

Maybe by the time I start my next tank, (an in-wall tank of at least 180g) just maybe the different automatic pieces will be more reliable or have backup monitors in case the monitor's fail.  :D

Yea back ups to the back ups are needed. Digital Aquatics is sending me a new temp probe. But I will add a third temp guag with alarm now.

I am trieing to raise my clown fish eggs. They will be ready to hatch on the 5th, so I am working on raising phyto and rotifers now.

Tony, a year ago your tank insipired me to set-up my own 75 g. I've continued to follow your tank this last year and it's just getting better.

Here is a picture of my tank on it's 1st birthday.

Screw the tang police. My tang is perfectly happy, even though he supposedly doesn't have room to "run".

LOL one of the better comments I've read on here.

kaweahnet statement says it all there , my tangs are very happy.
brad your tank is looking great, I like all the fish, I think I need one more fish.
I need to correct a raising nitrate level right now thow.
