A Reef in the Sky

wow where's that? Street name?

I am fascinated to have some of that for my tank! :D

Fantastic build bro! Keep it up :D

Happy Reefing,
Marc J.
Cheers, it is in an area called Sham Shui Po. It is very close to the 'Golden Computer Center' where a number of tourists visit. Definitely worth a look at both places

this build is awesome
Thank you, welcome!

Your build just keeps getting better and better, Andrew. Well done indeed
Thanks... your build and tank are a beauty too

Love the Hong Kong night markets, spent some time there a few years back.

Your build is inspiring! MORE!
Yep, they certainly are an experience!! Thank you very much

Woke up to this, this morning!

Had a late night and was not able to get it all finished so I know what I will be doing this morning. More to follow so stay tuned!

Looking very promising, can't wait to see it in real life :) Ow, and if there's time I would also pay a visit to the LED shops :)

Andrew,

Glad everything coming together nicely, can't wait when the system is cycled and you can start putting stuff in it.

I'm still waiting for your call, come pick up your frags! :D

Cheers... there will be plenty of time so don't worry. Shops open late and public transport is super quick!

Thanks Howard... will be in contact soon!

Finally all coming together...

After some lengthy delays today I've managed to finish the setup but will start the Zeovit process in the morning as I want the lights to be on after I have dosed the additives.

I received my new chiller and live rock. Boxes galore! :eek1:

The process began... Just over a box of salt was used to get the tank to the correct SG/ppt

The Finished Scape (well, nearly)

As you can see, I need to tweak the Tunze placements and flow type. Otherwise everything went to plan. The rocks in front of the overflow aren't 100% to my liking but as long as the fish have some caves I can hopefully modify its appearance by careful coral placement.

Very open scape

Allowed space on the substrate for any corals that I may get which have rocks attached.

More pics?? Okay...

Looks very nice Alpha! The open scape is definitely a BIG plus for flow. Are you adding more rocks? More pics please..hehe.

Simply amazing! One regret I have is not leaving more space in the sand bed when I set my tank up. You'll have tons of room for clams, chalices, acans, etc down the road. Very nice Andrew! I'm in love.

Great build. Immaculate planning & execution. I wish I had this sort of foresight ... my stuff starts with great ideas & gets thrown together at the last minute.
