A Reef in the Sky

very nice. what is his name?
Not sure, any ideas guys? It's on the sand bed and has kept it's green colour. The tips have darkened up too.

hey where is that little fella hiding?

Great shots, looks like you'll have to give me a run down on the Rebel when you endorse me on the Profilux
He's staying low in the tank for the time being. Thanks boss, will do for sure.

V1, Your macro skills are Sick! Great FTS as well! Very....very nice.. I can't imagine what your tank will look like in a years time...

Canon seem to have the most bang for the buck in terms of stills and Full HD. No competitors right now. Cool on the travel.. Just hit me with a PM if you ever get the opportunity & some time... I can always come pick you up if you don't have wheels when in town..
Thanks Jonathan. The macro 'L' series lens helps heaps but most shots are using the tripod. Yep, it was either Canon or Nikon but I've always liked Canon so the decision was easy.
Will do for sure... thanks for the offer.

Nice... looks like you got two Maxima clams (even though we didn't have a close look at the clams). I've got one nice blue Maxima, and then one multi-colored Crocea clam. They add a ton to the tank and you'll be surprise at how fast they grow if you keep the Calcium/Alkalinity stable... love the placement.

So where's the baby Rabbit fish???

Oh, and I LOVE the Coral #2... nice neon pink and green...
I'll take some pics of the clams. Not 100% sure what type, all I know is they came from the Coco (Keeling) islands in Australia. I would like to get a couple more over time.
Will get a picture and video footage of the baby rabbitfish.
Is coral #2 the birds nest at the rear of the island you were referring to?

Captain as far as you like the clean visual (me too) you can dip the tunze streams in vinegar for 15min once in a month and they will look brand new 4ever.

this is my 3 years old pumps. :)

I can't see the pumps.
I do :lol2:

I absolutely love this build btw, amazing work
Thank you very much. Glad you like it so far!

Great video, thanks! Can you take some close up pictures of the "base" of your corals & let me know how you are attaching them to your live rock. Do you set them in place before attaching them to see how they will do first (if so, how long).

Thanks,
Steve

Wuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaau!!, amazing, nicely, god!!, the song appear be made for your video XD, follow the same way!! ;).

Only use these four product of zeovit? (zeostar2, zeofood, zeobak...), use zeolite?

Great Video!!! Can't wait for pics of the clams...

The coral I was referring to was the 2nd one pictured in your post# 516... I don't think that one is the birdsnest you are referring to...

Hi Steve, sure will do. Yes, I usually place them, wedge them if I can and then leave them for a few weeks before actually permanently gluing them. I have to attach a couple now since they appear to be happy where they are located plus the snails keep pushing them over :hmm2:

Hi and thanks. Yes, only use the four basics (zeolites, zeobak, sponge power & start2) Started dosing food7 twice a week 2 weeks ago.

Thanks... more pics to come. Oh, that coral is actually the yellow acro but appears to have a slight red tinge when the marcos were taken.

outstanding quality video! keep sharing
Thanks Rodrigo... will do

 Cheers... using the Canon Marco 100MM L series. It's pricey but I very happy with it.

This tank has only been up and running since March 15th so it's very young.. The lighting was raised to acclimate the coral at the time. I need to take some newer pictures of it.

Sweet, nice background.

Im still reading the thread, but i did notice that you added 2-vortech pumps to your 6105 tunzes. do you like any pump more, or you like them both but in different ways? how is the combo working for you?

(back to reading....)

Have you finished?? :p
I've added x1 vortech MP20 (old one I have). I think both have their advantages but soon the vortech will be controlled by the profilux so I may have to re-arrange everything.
Anyhow, thanks for reading!

sweet vid!
Cheers... more to come.
