A Reef in the Sky

One of the best Zeo-tanks I've seen. Your collection of A. millipora and A. prostrata is wonderfull! Your hitch-hiker may be another, but it's much too early to tell. I have three developing at the moment, one of which looks to be a close relative, A. subulata.

keep it up!

Congrats for the pictures of your tank in CORAL magazine
Thanks Joost... standing by for the picture

No Problem Andrew, I'm in HK again in February, so maybe we'll meet then :)

Leonardo
When you know, tell me the approx dates as I will be away for a week during that month.

Grats on Thread of the month! Well deserved.
Thanks adddo, but it's you guys that made it so.

So when is the TANK of the month award coming???
:hmm2: That would be an honor but there are so many other great tanks out there.

It's a good thing there isn't a "Coral Colony" of the month or you would sweep it for the next year. I love that green acro with the blue tips. Congrats on your win!
haha... thanks. I'm going to frag that coral soon.

First of all awesome tank! I read the whole thing and love what you have done!

Second, how do you keep your cat from not jumping on the tank? lol mine won't stay away from the fish tank even if the lid is off!
Thank you. It has been an exciting ride thus far.
Guess I'm lucky as the cat hasn't shown any interest in the tank. He doesn't even look at the fishes :(

Thank you sir... I really like the millpora corals too. I have won which is turning a 'tan' colour with blue tips :spin2:

Nice video

great to see the engine room

One question, you say no micro bubbles..

I have the same reactor as you, mine puts bubbles in the sump, as it pulls the air in, before it travels down the exit tube.

I guess yours does this as well, with your return pump being so close does this not suck up some of the bubbles and push them into the tank

Cheers

Mike

Coral Vitalizer: Tues/Fri/Sundays x5 drops

Hi v1...rotate,

First and again what a lovely tank, everything its amazing

One question, you dose the Vitalizer just 3 days and not every days as they recommend, there is any reason for that?

:)

Nice video Andrew! I love the neatness to detail of your equips!

It is definitely fast and quiet... a pleasant surprise. Here are some more pictures that I have so far. I'll provide more info once it is installed.

It's an electric winch that comes in various lengths. This one pictured is 160cm (63") long and has a lifting capability of up to 60kg (~130lbs)

The wires from the ATI unit can be attached to the winch itself

Beautiful aquarium.
Could you please tell me the site or company that you bought that electric winch?

Thanks Mike. Yeah, there are a few micro bubbles from the reactor. In the video I was referring to no bubbles from the drains into the sump.

Hi Anthony and thank you for the comments. I have actually changed the dosing schedule around 2-3weeks ago. That previous amount was suggested by one of the 'zeo' Gods when the tank was just over 3months old and there were less corals in the tank.
I have since increased the dosage to 3 drops at x5 per week at this stage.

Hey Vic... cheers bro.

Yep, your speaking (typing) to a big Ryan Farish fan!! 'Full Sail' is a great song too. My favourites are
'Sunshine in the Rain'
'Chasing the Sun'
'Movement in Light'
Some of his songs feature on the weather channel too

What is a big pain is that all his albums are only on the USA i~Tunes store therefore I can't download them. I must pick up a gift voucher next time I'm in the states.

Hi there, no problem. I am a MAC user so I am just using the i-Movie program. Looking to get Final Cut Express sometime. Back in the PC days I used Magix for video editing.
Not sure about your troubles with playback. I record in 720p from the 550D.
Hope that helps

Beautiful aquarium.

PM sent. It comes from Hong Kong/China which is 220-240V

Hi Mo, thanks for the kind words. It would be an honor but it depends on all those people out there is cyberspace. All I know is that there are many wonderful tanks out there (big and small) which have given inspiration to not only me but many others. Thanks
