Thank you for the support thoughThose of you who were complaining and crediting the success of this magnificent tank to just having money need look at this picture and apologize to Andrew and his wife. Thank you Dutch for the kind wordsSo far I could follow this tank I did not see any complaining and crediting! I believe an complain or a credit is always welcome as you can learn from it. I have all the respect for Andrew and his wife how they manage this tank in this condition. It is not the most difficult to built a nice tank and stand. But it is difficult to keep it nice and colorful and for this I have deepest respect for them. And for sure as Andrew is also traveling a lot. Just big thumbs up and keep the good work.
LOL.. true! Just teach the basics and she will gain experience from there. IMO the actual dosing is really easy.Hi Andrew, thank you for your monthly explanation. This is very clear for me... And also where I was a little afraid off. My wife love the fish tank as she know me so old I am with a fish tank...but weekly water change and feed the fish she can handle but I am afraid to ask here to dose KZ products every day....I dose KZ before and I can monitor it as well but I have a feeling that she will say it is in off for now it is already perfect what you have and had before. Maybe I have to learn here slowly slowly until the interest come more and more and see how it impress the corals. You never know with a wife...
I'm am very lucky. The proverb goes that "behind a great reef tank there is always a great wife"![]()
Thank you. Yes it is enjoyable watching them grow and how they relate to other corals, ie: grow in different directions.Thank you so much for the photos andrew!
Amazing corals and amazing growth!
I really love the fact that some of these monsters are in the tank from the beggining and still growing!
And one question
What type of sand do you have?
Thanks Ryan. I actually dose Spur 2 from time to time but don't put it in the calendar. I usually dose 2-3ml every 9-12days depending on my work. Only I dose Spur2nice growth spurt, also suprised to see no B bal or spur2 used on the tank with such nice pastels. good work
Here Here!!aint that the truth!
Yeah I need to fine tune it a bit more but I like the lookStunning! I'm going to replace my Aquablue Spezial w/ a Blue + to replicate your color combo and hopefully add more pop.
Thank you MarkMagnificent!!! Can't wait for update with new light.
Thanks CrazyBeautiful as always Andrew!
Thank you... It's Korallenzucht coral sand Aragonite 3-5 mm and fine sandYou have everything so very well balanced. Unbelievable job on this tank. The color an polyp extension on that green milli is insane. I have one question for youWhat kind of sand is that?

Thank you, good to see you back.Been out of the hobby for a while but was here when you started this. Big fan.
Someone asked about how you keep the glass so clean around the sand and silicon. I didn't see an answer. Sorry if it was answered.
Also... Why do some tanks have the overflow where it is? Why not put it in the corner?
I did a similar blue on the back of my old tank gradual blue to lighter blue up top. I painted it myself. Most people don't like the blue but I wouldn't have it any other way. Looks like ocean!
Thank you... No new corals or fish for a long time. Just some equipment changes and additions.Andrew, always nice to see you update your thread. Any new additions?
