Thank you and welcomelooks awesome!!! taggin along to see how this light looks.
Thank you Sir... Yes it will support the electric lifting unit but I didn't install it in this setup. I still have it in storage and will use it again in the future. The current ATI PM is simply installed into the ceiling using the hanging kit supplied so I have been manually raising/lowering the unit. The Hybrid will be installed the same way. The existing cables will be used.nice congrats cant wait to see it on.
will the current lifting system support this with extra weight too ?
Thanks noob... I switched it on yesterday and WOW!! I'll provide plenty of pics and my thoughts.Wow a beautiful light and a beautiful sight!!!
Your corals definitely gonna love em!!
4 x 75W LEDs that's awesome power in a small package!!!:eek1:
Waiting to see the unit in action and of course your reviews on the unit
Hi FlyPen, I have never used the Coral Plus as it is a new bulb. This is what is said about the bulb...Sweet, What difference do you notice between the Coral+ and AB+? I've also been debating adding a Purple Plus to my 8 bulb unit.
Yes... of course Roger. Guys that currently have it, LOVE it!!Nice, hope you will give us a detailed review with lots of photos in the days to come
I am really curious on how this lamp is, I have high expectations for this one.
Oh really? Strange... They said for cooling? I thought the fans and holes at the end of the unit allowed for that?Funny mine and rods don't have the clip for the sag and when we asked ati they said they did not fix the issue as it was intentionally left for cooling
Thank you very much Kathy.I just love this tank. Whenever I need a little inspiration, I just go through this build again. The coralscape is just stunning and shows the corals off really nicely. I'm tempted to bit the bullet and rescape my tank!
Thanks so much for sharing. :inlove:
Kathy
Thanks boss... will do. Not sure about the other extras... lolNice lights! Let me know if you need help hanging them. Off tomorrow and Friday.
Now all you need is the Vertex skimmer neck cleaner! And the profilux 3.1! Hahaha
Hi Flamron, yes the 230V 8x80W are dimmable. Unfortunately the 110V are not. Glad to hear you love it.I didn't think the 80w T5s were dimmable on these? I have the 24" fixture and love it!
Thank you foxrazrGreat light can't wait to see pictures of it over your tank.
Hey Chad!! I hope all is well. Thanks for the comments and stopping by!Been a while since I've checked in... as expected everything looks GREAT!
Looking forward to the new light!

Thanks Marty and welcome. I usually spend no more than 2hrs a week on the tank and that includes the water change. I generally clean the glass every 2-3 days which certainly helps keep the tank look clean.A new follower. Nice job. I like everything about your tank. You showed corals can thrive under LED lights. But I like how pristine your tank looks. Approx. how much time a day, or every other day is spent maintaining the tank.
Marty
cant't wait to see the new light over the tank
Great to hear it is going well. Looking forward to getting mine set up shortlyAh. I didn't see that you had the 230v model. I've not read the specs other than the 120v versions. That makes that size fixture even more appealing! I love the colors I'm getting with the T5s dimming along with the LEDs.
Thank youSimply amazing! Looking forward to seeing the progress with the new lighting.
Thank you BelloCant't wait to see the new light over the tank
