You can't love my tank as much as I do! Tonight I fell asleep watching the fish. The coolest thing happened too. My Reef Lobster shed its skeloton and it's been getting blown around everywhere. My Seahorses are also being pretty active. I am going to try to post a small iPhone video of them.

Hopefully I will meet both you and Wayne at MACNA this year. And yes, if you were close to one another, we would have to meet for drinks when I get down to Disney World with the kids.

Seahorse Refugium Video

I took a quick iPhone video of my Seahorses eating tonight. They are really fun to watch and each of them have their own personality.

Ever since Dan from Seahorse Source suggested that I increase the flow and turnover ratio of my tank to system, the seahorses have been a lot more active. It's really cool to watch them eat both frozen and live brine shrimp. They literally "suck" the food in.

I was keeping at 73 degrees, but since Dan at Seahorse Source advised me to crank up the turnover rate with my system and to create more flow, it's staying between 75 & 77 degrees.

Do they wrap around your finger if you put it next to them?

I see a lot of them (other kinds obviously) when I dive on the Corinthian Gulf in Greece and they are very friendly:beachbum:

New Video - A Reef Tank in the Desert Vol. III

So here is the latest video of the tank that Sam put together. He shot it over a period of time that showed several different light stages.

Unfortunately, Sam is back at school and probably won't be able to shoot any new videos until April. Before he left though, he had me purchase a GoPro Hero3 Video camera that will shoot underwater pics. I plan on shooting the tank underwater, uploading the footage to him - and allow him to have some fun putting something together.

I haven't been folowing for a while and have just seen the videos. wow, it's turned out very well, it's amazing. it's only when you look at the size of the fish when you realize how big this tank is. Only wish i had the space to do this.
Can i ask what sand you are using? Do you have problems feeding the sun coral at all? I've had some in the past but always had trouble feeding them as everything else would take the food from it.
