WOW!!!! A state tank. Next thing you know someone will attempt an ocean tank.
That would be much bigger....Maybe you should recommend ATM do that

It would not be just a day or two. Thursday through Monday is a bit much for my comfort level. 5 days is a longer dark period than Im comfortable with.
As far as algae I only really have a ball in my sump so with due amount of algae I have should not be problematic. Usually my orp stays between 450 - 500 so I should be in clear.

Only if we can get the royalties.
I hope things go smoothly, I've had issues on my 180 while I was away before and had a very helpful (but not knowledgeable) friend to help it was stressful, didn't have video phones then.
Don't forget about the zooxanthellae algae in the coral that would also affect O2 levels I'd think.
I hope you are able to enjoy MACNA and not stress too much.
Here are the few I have uploaded. I'm not feeling like waiting on this slow upload speed of the Sheraton to post any more at the moment.
ORA Zero Edge they brought along and plan on raffling off ALL coral.

...and more from ORA.

I saw both of those tanks last weekend when I was in Orlando. Did the zero edge have the Cannons over it?
Fritz Aquatics has a large cube full of Chromis and Yellow tangs. Tank giveaway. (As long as you can haul it away!)

EcoTech Tank with the XR30 Pros. They were nice but still not impressed with the Radions and number of fixtures needed for a medium-large tank:

The wife and myself met the "Tanked" crew and got pics. I did meet a couple of the Nat Geo's Tank King crew and they said the second season should be much more technical focused so should be interesting to see how it unfolds. Still understand that the shows have to cater to the masses...Not to us geeks!

Interesting to meet some of the instrumental persons in the hobby and went ahead and bought the tickets to MACNA 2013 in Hollywood Florida as I don't want to miss again in the future...This morning met Marc from Melevs reef first thing and felt obligated to purchase something (Top down Photo Box I'll likely use to post some pics later!)
This year's event is great so I can talk to many vendors face to face and better determine what route I'll take before pulling trigger on equipment/aquascaping/etc...As it seemed Orphek debuted the Atlantik. I've so far been impressed with the Orphek Atlantik. For a large tank, they don't have a lot of comparable competition with the spread I saw with sufficient PAR for any corals. I'll get pictures up of that and other products that are new to me! Stay tuned:fish2:
Dude, I gotta see those pics of the Orpheks.
It seems that state shaped tanks were the theme this year. Odd, I'd figure there would be more vendors from Texas but what amazes me is to see there are so many people from Colorado and Wyoming.

Wayne, I made you wait long enough. This morning I forgot SD Card from camera in room and then could not get good pictures. About time of closing I could get some good shots of the Atlantik. I'm excited for this fixture should be in line with being released when my tank is in need of lighting?!
Zoomed out. Tight optics on left and right is the wider optics. On the wide optics I'd not be surprised if you could get more than 36"X24" spread. Sanjay's presentation today on LEDS and his previous analysis of the older fixtures (PR156) helped confirm that they have great PAR for largest area comparing to other fixtures (Vega, Radion 30, Maxspect, and can't remember other fixtures).

Let me know if you need any other pics and I'll try to get it for you tomorrow before I leave.
Are you now thinking about these over the Apollos now? I saw these on ************ last week and sent Orphek a note about how many would be required, haven't heard back yet but you've seen both so I'm interested in your opinion.
Yes I have been quietly awaiting. :lol2::lol2::lol2:Thanks Dustin. Those lights are dope. With those dimensions I would need between 4 - 6 of them to light my tank fully.
No problem Wayne. Lemme know if anything else interests youYou should sign up for MACNA 2013, should be just a few hours from you! I've already got two full conference passes and was not hard to sell my wife on Ft. Lauderdale as it's a true vacation spot!
Well I am definitely gonna be there next year. I am not missing out again on anything.
Good deal, it's a great experience. It's definitely a different outlook and great place to hear things from the vendors and give direct feedback on the products. Not sure how much makes it back home but at least you've voiced your opinion. Plus you get tons of swag.....I've got enough dry food for a couple years and 20+ reef shirts and did not pay for a single one:spin2:
