Hi Andrew,
I got my hands on a tub of Reef-roids this afternoon. I know you mentioned this somewhere in your old tank thread, but would you mind reminding me how you use this food to feed your acroporas and how often you use it.
Cheers
Bulent
Hey Bulent,
I put reef roids in the display after dark every second or third night but i only add a finger pinch which would probably equate to about 1/8th of a teaspoon. It's very potent stuff and i treat it like amino acids - a little goes a long way. Small amounts often is way better than a large single dose once a week otherwise i see the exact same reaction i saw ages ago when i dosed straight amino acids, everything lost its pop within 24 hrs and took 3 or 4 days to be shining brightly again.
Im making a very rude gesture at you right now Andrew:furious:
Lol Matt, you guys have nothing to be jealous of over there. If i had the same easy access to the color palette of acro frags you guys can pick and choose from i'd chuck out the SSC and really go nuts - it's always greener on the other side.....:debi:
ing pieces back together soLOL,
My SSC is the size of a thumbnail, and I am all stoked on it, 11 colonies.... BIGGLES.....I feel like Matt right now....
Never fear Perry, i've been putting pieces i chopped up back together lately and binning the ridiculous number of SSC frags i stuck all over the place so i don't end up with a green and pink monstrocity for an SPS display lol.
Only 11:facepalm:
Not anymore Mike
It's quite shameful to admit but i have quite a great deal of squishy corals - my name is Andrew and i am a flubberholic...........:sad1:
Back in the display and even the yellow tang is disgusted with me.......:hmm2:
I put two different SSC frags and one of my bright blue tenuis frags on a rock for Ben when he drops by to check out the reef.
