It is good feeling to have some association with your tank Andrew and in particular with your stunning corals. You chose a pink coral, which is my favourite coral colour. What a quick transformation in two weeks. It is simply amazing. Please look after that coral and keeping well away from aggressors.

I note that you use Brightwell's KoralColor to manipulate bichromes. The first time I came across this term was when you posted in Matt's (@Mhucasey). When I read Dana Riddle's articles he has never mentioned the notion of bichromes and their manipulation using metals. I wonder what is exactly in this product and whether its dosing would create complications if one is already using trace elements.

Finally, my acro crab that took residence on my new A. desalwii has already left that coral and moved onto A. nasuta. This crab has now become a traveller.

Regards

Bulent

PS.

The yellow princess has betrayed me Matt............ she's started wearing green makeup..........:(

If you cannot keep a yellow acro yellow for long, what chance do we have? The coral on the right in the above picture is simply stunning.

I shall look after your acro as if it were my own Bulent..... :)

I dose 2.5ml of the koralcolor along with 10ml of salifert trace hard every second day. 3 drops of lugols every morning and that's it except for lots of fish food and some skimmate when i feel in the mood.
That crab is obviously a picky bastard Bulent, keep me updated with where he ends up please mate.

This is reefmutt's, remember that pinky mauve colored table that changed from green branched to cream colored that you liked Matt. Turns out that when you love it and treat it right, it has another very pretty color up its sleeve.

Hey Mike, it's Sunday morning so you know what that means.......... P.O.R.N !

Straight off the camera phone with just crop and resize. I underexposed the pic by 2/3 stop to lessen the sand bed light blowout but it still flared.

After a quick clean up in PS you can at least see some of the colors better.

I see the Empire is forging alliances by naming corals. Smart, but ultimately futile:D

Darth Acro smiled as he imagined the rebel blood that would soon add some pop to the pristine white sand bed force field surrounding the Acro Death Star...........

Futile is adding bat wings and frogs legs to your water in a ridiculous attempt to raise an acro army against the might of the Empire..........

The sound of the approaching acro death star has been known to drive men mad........

I videoed the daily mysis feed so you can see the flow better, you can see the fish know what's coming and get all excited. Watch the yellow tang come running when i approach lol.

The giant acro eating mimic nudi - looks like a tri color crawling across the sand bed until it locates a rebel colony........... :smokin:

I literally have no words for you Andrew, I haven't checked in in some time and wow mate. Just wow. Seeing not only such colour and intense saturation of the tissue but also the health and happiness of all your acro's is just fantastic. I shed a single tear of joy because that video of the SSC was so tranquil and it was sooo friggin happy!
I've been a little slack with my tank as I'm a bit bummed with it and the potential move coming up but seeing this really gets me going and want to sort things out. I've only had the chance to see the tank once or twice a week for the last few weeks since getting back and that has me a bit bummed along with not having any room for anything and all the frags causing a mess everywhere lol I need to sort my **** out so I think tomorrow will be a busy day! Thanks for the inspiration Andrew, I really do admire what you do and the level of care you give and get from your tank!

Ken and Jen who i met last time i was at deer park aquarium were the lucky SPS reefers who scored that piece Matt.
Ken is one funny Kiwi, they're some of the nicer reefers around!

Thanks Dom, Ken and Jen are lovely people :)

How's acro frog going?? I haven't seen him in a while :lolspin:

He's still going strong thanks to his lucky echi helmet i think. The efflo RTN'd from the base out and stopped after it had passed the frog. I'll get a pic tomorrow of your little mate :)

I must remember - hate leads to the dark side...

Bugger! I did spy the efflo in the video and it doesn't seem to be phased by the loss of it's companion lol
The new layout of the islands looks really sweet too! Much much different from when I saw it but absolutely kickass lol I'm thinking about coming off zeo and going to a slightly more simple setup to really test out my knowledge and see how things are going, given that I'm nearly there as I haven't been home enough to monitor zeo and keep it running smoothly!
