A little update finally found a healthy blue squamosa clam

Squamosa don't need as much light as maxima so on the sand bed is ok. I have t5 8x80w and I can grow montipora on the sand bed so the clam is fine. I also have a maxima clam and it sit higher on the rock work.

Well I never seen the rabbit fish nip at any corals I had him to eradicate my algae problem when I started the tank. As far as flame angel the trick is 2 or more cause they busy chashing each other and they have no time to nip at corals. For my experience large tank has more live rock for them to gaze so they don't nip at corals. The corals as far as sps growing fine in my tank however regarding polyps extension then it's debatable my frag tank has the same polyps extension with no angel fish.
After I watch this video my urge to add more angel fish grow exponentially

I started out this tank with the basic zeovit zeobak, zeostart3 and the zeomix AF stone so I don't have to shake. It was great I had much more PE for my sps until about 6 months when I had a nutrient imbalance. I wasn't feed enough and also I didn't know the potent of the zeo mix rock which strip bad stuff together with good stuff. I sent out an ICP test and iodine is 0 potassium is 180 so I stopped the zeo program and run up my NO3 and PO4 to regain the nutrient in my tank. I had some dino problem also when NO3 and PO4 were at 0. Forward to today tank look great coral growing however PE is not as good as when my tank running ULNS.
So as of today I restart the ZEO program to chase the ellusive PE again but this time I only use half of the zeomix rock. Can someone guide me to post pictures here that don't use photobucket.com lol
