Aandtsociety Cray trip (some collecting)and a big fish!

Just wanted to show off another adventure we had the other day.

We planned on only snorkelling for crays this day and ended up with several really nice aquarium species and Dave’s mate that was the boat keeper the fibre glass boat caught this monster snapper, in only 40 to 50 feet of water!

Nine people went out in three boats, fisherman, spearfisherman and a few of us took nets as well.

The first pic is how flat the water was, the second is of the crays we got and than that insane snapper.
There were other fish speared, but they were just run of the mill stuff.

Over all a top day out to moreton island.

Those run of the mill guys have no imagination in what they get.

Ha Ha!!

I will put on what the run of the mill guys in the second boat got this morning ( two boats today)before the wind blew up in a couple of days on the forum when i get the pictures.

Oh,(imbarrising),one of the guys in Daves boat that day got something run of the mill as well.

He will never live it down.

That snapper was so not run of the mill!

Dave got a parrot (tusker) near on five feet,but we do get a few around that size from time to time,so i would consider that run of the mill.
