ABC Anniversary swap/sale Saturday 11/20

How about some recommendations from locals for a couple of good places in Syracuse for lunch? I think I have talked my husband into the trip, but I'll have to see he gets a good meal.

if you want big plates of diner type food that is the best i would recommend STELLAS DINER . pm me if you have any desire as they are usually packed and you can call ahead so i will give you the number and directions as you can call 20 minutes ahead and get put on the list .that will give you time to get there and then you will be seated quickly .they are eight minutes away at the most .

If you don't mind driving into Syracuse, there's The Mission - amazing Mexican food, and the lunch prices are reasonable. Also, Pastabilities - really good Italian food; their dipping sauce for their homemade bread is to die for. The Blue Tusk is also in the city and has great food and around 70 different types of beer on tap. The Brooklyn Pickle is closer to ABC and has great sandwiches and soups.

Local Syracusers, help me out with more options!

Riley's on Park and Oak, best burgers and Irish fries!
Rico's Italian Ristorante Bridge St (Rt 290) - fabulous Italian
I also endorse Blue Tusk (Rast Beef and Stilton! Mmmmm)
Dinosaur - Sweetheart special full rack and 4 sides!
Pickle? Good soup and great portions but lousy bread (sorry Karen! I still like them!)

I'm a little upset that we won't be abe to take trips to Mark's to check out his tank this year.... Any other local guys willing to share their tanks with us?

I agree going to Marks was just as much fun as the Frag Meet. There is someone close who just put up a very nice tank ;). Would be great to see that in person... *cough* *cough*

It's ok Sophie.....that was more for my bf, who raves about them . Their soup is really good though. And now I have a few more places to try out myself!

I probably wont be around much for a while here but just as a headsup anyone that I have trades worked out with I'm good for and look forward to it at the swap.Just reconfirming here.

FWIW~ I dont have anything real spectacular as far as my tank goes but live about 5 miles from abc reefs.Anyone would be welcome to come over if they wanted ,just throwing it out here.

Thank you all for your lunch suggestions. We're huge Mexican food fans and one look at their menu online tipped the scales for The Mission.

I plan to attend and have some tan/brown gorgonian frags, some purple and multicolor mushrooms and a couple rocks covered in GSP. If anyone is interested I can bring them, but I don't have enough to bring a frag tank setup.

I have a large Anthelia, I want to frag it as its taking up to much space. Any interest?

Lastly I got some reef rubble rock recently for my sump and fragging and I ordered way to much. I can bring a few pounds if someone is looking for it. It will have been in an established system for a few few weeks by the time of the meet.

Looks like I will actually be able to make it! Woot woot!

Anyhow, the last month I moved from a 30 to a 75 that now has 100lbs of mostly bare rock that is really well lit. I would love to find some cool zoa's, some blue or plane Xenia and am hoping to find many small frags to fill in some space.
So if anyone has any thing like that - please LMK

So, are most getting there at 10?

I also have a very large dry marco rock (took out to kill off the aptasia and I like the tank more with out it) I would offer this as a trade for just about any zoa/sps/lps frag- I'll will weigh it tonight when I get home and get aprox demos.
