About to Give Up - 2K Down the Drain

It's with major frustration I write this. As some of you may know, I've been having a very difficult time getting my P3ex working properly. Now it seems that one of my PAB's has set a timer routine and it turns on/off some sockets at random. This has caused my sump to flood twice, as my skimmer overflows and makes a mess of my fish room in the basement. I have tried everything to understand what is going on with the PAB. I have tried to control it with PLC, and it shows no timers or other functions being run. I have gone directly to the controller itself and done the same... Yet, half the sockets will not work properly. I'm about to give up. In all candor, my RKL worked much better, and was 65% the cost.

Any idea what on earth is going on?

Hi

The PAB can only do what you program it to do, so if it has a timer function programmed it has been programmed. The unit has no random mode or functionality.

You have my MSN but do not contact me, why not ask for support directly instead of posting here with frustration :( If you cant get me there then I am available on email 7 days a week and always happy to help

I will post there, but in all candor, I don't get much of a response to posts I make on the GHL site either.

I will try again, but something is seriously wrong with my one PAB.

HUH?

I said email me or MSN me.

if you think there is something wrong with a component then email the distributor (in this case no there is not anything wrong we just need to guide you with programming)

Sorry i get MEGA frustrated when forums are used to vent, as I then have to go searching all over the place to find these posts when a technical question can easily be resolved by direct contact to the support network (me)

All this needed was an email to me or MSN me. :(

If I remember correctly you were trying to set up a delay pause during feeding for your skimmer, it is this programming that will be flooding your system if you have got it wrong, not a malfunction

workmen and their tools I think the saying goes ;)

here to help :) sales@aqua-digital.com will reply tomorrow as even i have to sleep sometimes ;)

Hi

Here to help ;)

Thanks,

Was traveling yesterday, and not able to get on-line. I'll send a note out with some pics shortly. I very much appreciate the help!

Folks,

I wanted to close the loop on this thread and thank Michael at AQD for some truly outstanding customer support. I'm happy to report my P3ex is running great, and I'm able to control all the things I had wnated to.

Thank you again to AQD. If anyone reading this thread is on the fence about buying a Profilux, AQD and the dealer network are simply fantastic...

My thanks again!
