No not a Hillae..... the polyps are way to big. I will try to get a better pic that sows the size.

i am curious to. i just got my first few frags of aussie acans today. how often do you feed them? also what?

first off.. kudos to the acan master.. you have some awesome stuff.

i have a couple acans and i feed them once or twice a week, spotfeeding them mysis, brine, cyclopeez(sp?), small pieces of krill, and rods food. basically whatever i feel like that day. they are so easy to feed and if you feed them they grow relatively quickly!

Do Acans slowy spread out onto new rock over time increasing the colonie size?

I was in Oakville today at Reef Gallery and I could not believe the amazing selection of Acans they had , beutiful and healthy.
Actually all there Corals were amazing.

If there is rock to spread they will and if they are on the sandbed with nothing to encrust on they will make their own skeleton and ball up but will grow slower...
