Acans Acans Acans the collection journey

Sick thread! I'm working on an acan garden in my 195 and have noticed these guys like lower light conditions. Anyone notice this as well?

I just bought my first acan, not the best picture but can you tell what this one might be. I know it's hard since its not fully open. Ill try and post a better one later. Just thought with all your amazing acans I thought you might know this one. Thanks in advance

Thank you guys, I actually need to create more base for it to spread down. That one along with my orange and red acan is my favorites...the orange is neat because it looks like an explosion.

Ok so I missed if anyone said it but what type of cameras are you all using to take your pictures of acans and are you doing any adjustments to the photos or is that how they are coming out when the photos are taken?

They look amazing. I have 3 Acans now between 4 tanks and I love them I am going to try and find some of those Rainbows and some with the white in them now.

I have to say this is an amazing hobby with all the different variations, colors, types, and sizes of life that can be found in aquariums and the hobby as a whole.

I'm using a Galaxy S3. I take the pictures on Fall setting to capture color. No adjusting pics.

The only acan I have right now... am definitely itching to get more as soon as I get my full spectrum DIY LEDs done. I don't know what variety it is... it was very pale pink and white in the LFS... crazy colors starting to pop out now, had it home about 2 weeks.

I"m using a canon a95 with a raynox macro lens. This average joe camera is amazing. I traded my canon rebel xti because I didn't know how to use it.
