that is what I use as well for all my corals. Sorry to hear your bad news. Hope things turn aroundtry treating with tropic marine pro coral cure. blast them with a turkey baster. you may have to repeat it several times (not all in the same day)
Ive been doing iodine dips, and still its progressing. Perhaps I will try the TMPC, I am almost ready to throw the towel on reefing. I had a huge acan collection, now a few hanging on, A hobby is supposed to be fun, its not fun watching your favorite things die...
So i moved all my acans to my rebooted main tank and they all are shrived, anyone have ideas how to get them to puff back up?
If your params are stable and in order it's just a matter of time. They won't rebound immediately.
I had on that was competely retracted for weeks, did no look happy at all. I was nearly certain it was going to die on me. I moved it in a lower flow area with less light and within a couple weeks it suddenly was as happy as can be.
A very big shout out to Darrell (All Delight)
In case you did not know Darrell was published in this quarters Reef Hobbyist Magazine. He did an article on his incredible skills in growing out and maintaining Acans. Not just an article however; his great photography landed him on the cover. A great article with amazing photos. You can see it online.
I would post up a link but don't want problems with the mods if I am creating any issues as all I am doing is getting the word out on a good man's wonderful acheivement. We are fortunate to have him as part of our reefing community.
CONGRATULATIONS AND VERY WELL DESERVED DARRELL
