Acans never close?

I just bought acans from someone who didnt take care of their tank for like the last two months (so they never ate). Brought them home and fed them mysis. Next day, their tentacles are all sticking out. 6 days later (today), I fed them cyclops and their tentacles are still out.

Very rarely, have I seen them close. Is this normal? SHould i be feeding more or les??

They're just showing their appreciation! Seriously though, mine do not completely close at night, they retract quite a bit but not fully closed.

On another note, remember that acans can be pretty aggressive. I've found mine to have a 2.5 - 3.0 inch reach when they have a mind to sting something close by.
