Acanthastrea brain coral looking sad

I was rearranging my tank a bit and moved my Ricordia coral next to my brain coral. The Ricordia liked the space so much it spread out further than I had ever seen before. I realized it was touching my brain coral after 2 or 3 days of it being there. I have since moved the ricordia but my brain coral is continuing to decline on that side. It has been two days since I move him away. All water parameters are within normal range. Any suggestions on how to help my brain coral from continuing to decline?

I would move it to a safe place where it can't get stung with the same flow & lighting conditions and feed it. If you see little bits of dead tissue, blow it off with a turkey baster or pump.
