Acclimating new butterflyfish - Suggestions needed

I have an established 125gal non reef tank (running 18 months with lots of live rock and good water quality... nitrates about 20ppm) that I'm now intoducing two butterfly fish to (one is a copperband & one is a heniochus butterfly).

I know these are hard fish to keep alive & feeding. Any advice you can give me on how to properly acclimate them & get them to eat would be appreciated! I only have 10 small green chromus, 1 med foxface, 2 small wrasses, 1 clown. It's a peaceful tank.

Certainly QT them for 4-6 weeks! Preferrably seperately to help get the Copperband to eat. Read this post too, lots of good info here. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1492696

Yes, disease reasons aside this is a good idea to give the copperband in particular a chance to take to prepared foods without the competition for food of all the fish in your main tank.

CBB is a great reef fish. My Yellow tang and Foxface tried to attack it when it was introduced. It would hide and I would slowly coax it out with PE Mysis. Now they get along fine. A well established aquarium is important so the butterfies can forage.

i want a CBB i'm hesitate because will it eat my coral i have a mixed reef system?
