Acclimation from QT to DT?

I have had two OC clowns in my QT for over a month now.
They have been healthy and happy the entire time in the QT.
They will be my first fish in the DT. I checked salinity and temp in both tanks.
Salinity is 1.0255 in both and temp is 79.3 and 79.5.
Since both salinity and temp are nearly exact what kind of acclimation do I do??
Thanks in advance.

Nada. Nothing. Always adjust your qt to your dt's specs over a matter of days, then just put them gently across.

Thanks Sk8r! I did have to adjust the QT from 1.028 to 1.025 but I did it over a few hours. I hadn't been diligent in topping off the 10g QT so the salinity crept up a bit...I hope I didn't mess anything up. They still seem to be fine in the QT.

They'll be fine. One bennie of an adjustable (bare) qt is that you set it to the incoming (store) salinity to receive them from the store---thus entirely eliminating the acclimation step, which, mishandled, kills fish---, then over the next while, adjust it slowly to your tank salinity and you eliminate acclimation in that direction also.

It's also generally accepted that fish can handle reductions in salinity more easily (quickly) than increases. Though, I've never actually asked them so ......

true. You can drop salinity a bit without worry. It's raising it fast that causes grief. If you ever have a topoff accident that throws your salinity low, correct it by topping off with salt water instead of fresh for the next few days.
