Acro crab in wild colony.

Hey fellas, i bought a wild pink milli colony few days ago and today i noticed theres a very tiny white acro crab inside. i know most are safe and infact good for the colony as it cleans the colony clean, but i noticed the area where the crab lives seems to have their tissues eaten clean. the whole area surrounding the area where the crab lives is totally white, i cant help but think its the crab who ate it. it hardly moves and its too tiny for me to see if its eating any polyps..

Here's a pic of the colony

you can see from the above pic, the middle area if the colony is white, that's where the crab is residing.. should i remove the crab?

yap its not an acro crab, prety clear where Polyps are missing.

hunt it out. unless you can see it and its got no hair, in which case, you have another killer in the tank,

try to find it at night with red flash light.

the crab stays in the colony even when i take the colony out of water, the crab is white and clean without hair. the colony has been in the tank for only 3 days and i remember it being white when i got it.. i believe this crab can be easily removed.

Thanks

when in doubt, toss it out. Sucks that you may kill a reef safe species. Still better then risking it, losing the coral then blaming yourself down the line when the coral dies.
