Acro eating flat worms .(The Aftermath)

My Acros started looking really bad ( loosing flesh ) . I first thought it was RTN , and then I saw Asternia starfish , and I thought it was the bad guys , but soon found out they were not the bad guys . After I removed a piece of the affected coral I discovered this .

AEFW eggs , I later saw the flat worms eating away .

This is approximately two thirds of the corals I lost .

Some of the corals were broken up too bad to keep the skeletons, so they went in the trash .

Now everything that I add to the DT will be dipped , quarantined , dipped , and quarantined again before it goes into the DT. everything will be in quarantine at least 60 days . I thought Red Bugs were bad , but they don't come close to how bad AEFWs are .

The good thing about this is ,I learned one thing for sure
, I WILL DIP AND QUARANTINE EVERYTHING NEW , before it goes into my DT .

wow, that sucks. the good thing is you get to start over with new sticks and watch them grow!

I know one thing for sure I will take every step I can , to make sure my system stays pest free , from here on out .
