Acro Grow test

This explains alot. LOL

I am not a fan of the deep sand bed, especially when it is in the display. I do like the look of some sand in a tank though. I tried bare bottom once, but I did not give it long enough to start to get colored up on the bottom, nor did I give it long enough for my zoos or softer coral like that to cover the bottom, which is what I wanted to happen.

I should have pictures up by Saturday. I can definitely see some growth in the coral overall. I must say though it is one of the slower growers in my tank. The Shades of Fall acro has to be the slowest though. I have had it for about 7 months and it has did nothing but encrust.

Alright, I finally had some time to take a couple new pictures of this coral. I haven't moved it since I originally put it in my tank. Overall this appears to be a slow grower. So far it has encrusted the plug and I am seeing some growth on the branches. I wasn't able to get the exact same shots as in the past due to other frags on my frag rack growing out.

Alright, it's been awhile so I thought I would post an updated pic of this coral. Once it settled in it actually started growing at a descent rate, not as fast as some of my acros but not as slow as others.

It's still sitting on my frag rack. :)
