those are rock crabs and they are a big pest they move corals around and also pull inverts in and eat them are you having trouble keeping snails

Yes, I lost almost all of my snails! I never thought it was them.

Glad you got em out. I had 2 stone crabs wreaking havoc in my tank, and one or 2 gorillas. Things are much better now they are gone. Found one of their lairs in a liverock with several empty snail shells and pieces of dead coral. Hope they didn't have any babies.
