It is a great tank and is going to be fantasic when it grows in. Very nice sps and lps frags.

Sorry if I missed it but what lighting and are you dosing?

Lastly did you use supper glue to place the frags?

Again, very nice system.

thanks! im running 8 T5's 6 bulb tek and 2 bulb retrofit. 4 ATI Blue +, 2 ATI aquablue specials, and 2 Geesmann Actinic +. Very blue im looking at switching an actinic for a pink bulb. Im only dosing two part on a GHL doser for now. With the tank being so new I cant yet eye out the defficiencies so im not dosing any potassium or aminos yet. I wish i had some superglue on hand but i am using aquascape putty to hold the frags in place.

oh and the tank dementions are 150gal 48x24x30 pretty deep for T5's some LPS do ok on the sand but not much, Im considering MH but we"ll see

Definitely better to see how the tank matures before if ever startng the serious dosing of potassium and such. Personally I really like two part and some magnesium when appropriate.

You have a ton of room to play with. I think switching out for a pink tone will be really nice.

Also, if someone could give me ID's on some of the Acros that would be a big help to me!#2,#5,#8,#9,#10 and #18

Thanks

thanks mark, ya the frags are tiny but some real gems for sure like the SSC and aussi echinata. I will keep everyone posted for sure

Looks really nice, I like the aquascaping. Everything should grow out nicely!

I'm thinking #5 is a Cali tort, #8 is a purple nana, #10 is blue-tipped tenuis.

ah thank you very much, that will help me in my research and thanks for the compliment oceanman. Im happy that im finally getting some responses! its uplifting

Very nice Canadian tank!....future potential for sure. I didnt see the picture of the aussie echinata frag..did you post it?

no i didnt post a photo of it. I dont know why i wrote echinata, I wish I had one. Im still learning the crazy names. Im actually in debate as to if its some aussie deep water acro or acropora aculeus. ill post a pic of the frag in question.

Another interesting one I am looking forward to is the last one in post #2. its too small to tell just yet but i believe its a red planet.

Nice setup! You have some beautiful nuggets in there as well. Gotta love those peninsulas.

LOL nuggets, i like that better than frags. Thanks alot. I love peninsulas, its like having twice the tank to place corals and such. Maintaning its alot easier aswell.

Ryshark, Its pink polyps but the skin is just the regular white/brownish colour. If it was green that would be awsome however!!!!

I see....aussie echinata is one Im after as well. The last pic in post #2 could possibly be red planet but the coralites look more rounded....it will be hard to tell till it grows some though. Good luck.
