acropora abrotanodies after 12 months

Toothman major props that awesome piece they can be very difficult, how much flow is it getting ? I look forward to seeming some growth shots !

I have really, in the last 6 month turned my tank into a first class spa. I try to have major movement everwhere. It seems the more flow I add the better the whole tank does. Origionally 7 yrs ago it was set up with: sequence dart x 2 approx. 3000 gph each, and Hammer head 5000 gph. Since then added two tunze 6255 (running at full speed not controlled) another 10k gph, and two other 1500 gph pumps. So total about 24,000 gph. So about 60x tank.

trueblackpercula, that is truly a plethera of amazing corals, most look a little bleached but better than browned out. The Spathulats look great, I would get two or what ever room you have. It is a big coral. You may have to weed a few to make room for those beautys!

Yes they are better looking in person and freshly imported from Aussie. My system can only handle one or two of them at one time because the are so big. If I get one I will be sure to post some pictures.
Thanks for the advice.

Can you tell me a little about the spathulata as I can get a pink one that is large. Light water etc.

I have a Spathulata colony that's pink with yellow/green tips and its easily my favorite acro in my tank. I highly recommend these acro's for both their unique thick branching shape and their contrasting colors. I think it's an acro every serious SPS enthusiast should enjoy at some point. They are slow growing at first but definitely do best in high light and very high flow placements. I would recommend getting a decent sized mini colony or full blown colony because once they get some size they grow pretty quickly. I highly recommend you give one of these corals a try, definitely one of my favorites. I wish I had room for a second piece. They usually come in blue/green or pink and green/yellow, normally they always have contrasting color tips.
