For those of you that were not at last nights meeting, or didnt get a peice last night and want one please post here so that i can get you a frag.

This colony was purchased from Eddie Hanson at the MARS auction for our club. Everyone should be able to get a frag.

Here is the link to Eddies blog. Very cool to see how things are being collected and propagated. I beleive Eddie just sells to wholesalers normaly, but he collects some incredible peices.

Jeff, you got a pic of it in your tank? Looks interesting, but tough to tell when it's out of the water.
BTW, good show how you guys are spreadin the wealth lately.

Hey Jeremy, what's crackin!!

I don't yet, I'm getting a new camera, should be here by middle of next week. Watch out, theres going to be a whole lotta new picture threads:beer: I'll post some pictures then, but its not a bad idea to have everyone that can take a picture and periodical post growth pics.

LOL!

Yeah, it would be nice to see more pics of that tank of yours. When the camera comes, I guess you'll be out of excuses.:D

Jeff,

I know we talked but I'd like a piece too.

Thanks

***I heard you and Jake were helping Taylor today with moving his tank. How did it go? I just moved 90% of my corals now and my back hurts bending over putting them where I want them.***

Jeff,

The one you gave me doesn't have any polyp extension. I wonder if it didn't make it. if you have an extra one after everyone gets one. i may hit you up for another one.

Would you have a picture of one in your tank so i can get an idea of what a healthy piece looks like?

Thanks,
Bob

Thysrof, my frag (yes, I was fortunate enough to receive one! Totally stoked...) was very shy with the polyp extension initially also and I was having similar doubts. They all be poking out a bit now and colors are intensifying. It's going to be a bomb piece.

I must say, my fingers brushed it while positioning it and it stung me. I've been stung accidently by Cnidarians before (by jellyfish while swimming in Hawaii and by corals while scuba diving) and this was nothing like those. But it was a fairly immediate mild burning sensation. I have not experienced that with my other corals (not that I make a habit of fondling them!).
