Today I attempted to buff my acrylic 180 gallon.
I started with sand paper 260, 320, 400 wet grit sand paper.
Then I used the novus 3,2,1 polish with a buffing wheel after that, it took some time but I got it from a hazy look, what is now my problem, an clearer blurred look that I cant seem to buff out.
So I figure either my new buffing wheel (attached to my dewalt drill) is bad after 10 inches of buffing, I let the acrylic get to hot (which I checked and did not feel), or maybe I need to try a micron sandpaper instead of the higher grit?
Any suggestions or expertise in this area from anyone who has done it ?????????
THANKS !!!
Frank
