Acrylic fabricating?

Be more specific vacuum molding? cnc of parts? thermal molding? Or are you just plain talking about some cutting and gluing of parts? There are many degrees of this that can be called fabrication..

indeed.

I have cut, heat formed, and "welded" (chemical welding with solvents) acrylic for art projects, tank furniture, and product displays....

I have never made a water tight tank, had access to laser or CNC equipment, or don'e anything large scale really...

As for "people who do it" (acrylic fabricating) in Albuquerque 2 names pop to mind: Southwest Acrylic Fabricators (located on Aztec and Princeton next to Piedmont Plastics) and Jule-Art, no idea where they are.... both have laser CNC equipment, and could probably make tanks but I know SW will not guarantee water tightness (or didn't a few years back when I talked to them).

They WILL custom cut any shape or pattern you could dream of and let you glue it up yourself. I may soon go that route if I don't find a decent 55g acrylic tank from CL soon.
