Acrylic Fish Damage

About to have my first plastic tank. Rehomed my Quoyi parrot because it became clear he would scratch the crap out of the acrylic. How about other grazers? My chevie grazes the front panel almost continuously.

Not looking for opinions on whether it might or not. Have acrylic tank owners had this problem?

I have for sure read about this with the Quoyi and acrylic tanks. As far as other grazers go, I'm sure if you look close enough you could see fine scratches from them on the walls too.
