Actinic Supplementation

I'm going to be using 2 110 watt VHO lights as my actinic supplementation. Does PAR come into play with actinic lights? If so, are T5 lights still better when it comes to actinics?

I thought the T5 actinics were ugly, but they might produce more PAR. I doubt that the corals will need the extra PAR, though, depending on the main lighting. The primary purpose of actinics is for viewing pleasure.
