Active participation incentives

Your Fearless Leader ( ME ) has been trying to come up with ways to get more members actively involved in club activites...meetings, etc.

I know there are those of you out there who use the club membership card to receive discounts, and that is fine if that is what you want from the club, but I would love to see more members at meetings and actively participating in discussions.
The details of this will be discussed at the May meeting at Kevin Barnes home in Hernando, MS (next Saturday, the 20th), but the idea is that those who come to at least 75% of the meetings, and actively participate will be rewarded.

With what? You will have to come to the meeting to find out.

The incentice program works like this...for those of you who did not make it to the meeting.

Any member who attends 75% (9 out of 12) meetings will qualify for a reward.
At the end of the year, we will announce who qualifies...of those qualifiers, members will vote for 2 people that have been helpful, and contributed the most to the club.

Second prize is ONE FREE YEAR's membership to the club.

First prize is ONE FREE YEAR's membership to the club, and
ONE YEAR of EMPLOYEE pricing at Kermit's Reef. This discount is considerably better than the club discount. It is around 40% off livestock, and 25% off drygoods. Also...any special order is at Cost + Tax...nothing more.

I hope these incentives will help boost club participation.
