Add 1 clownfish

Since my blackfooted pair totally shuns my mag, I'm thinking about addin one more or a pink skunk or a ocellaris to lure em into it

Is it possible? Will they fight to death. The mags very big, over a foot in diameter so it's capable to support three clownfish

Putting One more Clownfish with a pair will probably end up with disaster. The pair probably have their territory all picked out. But you could try rearranging your tank and introduce all three clownfish at same time. You did not mention how big of tank you have.
But the consensus will be here not to do it.

well, the tank is 70 gallon

or i gotta this pair out and trade em back to the store

Poor advice Wifi. Only 1 pair of clownfish per tank. NEVER mix clownfish species in same tank or you'll end up with dead clownfish.

then the pair gotta prefer either in or out ;) setting up my trap now

my male anthias is bullyin his two mates. so better 2 birds 1 stone, lol

even the small banggais know to seek shelter from the mag, dummie blackfooted clownfish

Well the OP is asking for advice. If OP wants to do it it is their choice. Just offering some help to maybe help them succeed if they choose to do so. There are other posts on this forum where people have done it and I have seen it done too. If OP decides to do it then what I would recommend is to take the pair out and rearrange the tank decor and either add the odd clownfish first and then the original pair later or all at the same time. I would also break up the sight lines once they have established territories or before, so they have minimal viewing of each other and hiding places. Also a busy tank can keep pair occupied too and divert their attention from odd clownfish. If tank is small I would not do it.
In the late 80's early 90's SPS coral were considered impossible to keep in the home aquarium. Now the impossible is a reality. I do not know how much experience the OP has in this hobby and if OP is new then I would not recommend it just because of the dissapointment they may end up with. I personally have never done it but people have.
I wish the OP success if they decide to do it and I'm only giving them advice to help accomplish it nothing more.
If it does get ugly and OP can interveine then a backup tank should be ready.

Wow - THAT ... is poor advice! You really need to understand what happens once a dominant pair of clownfish is formed. That third wheel clown WILL be a dead clownfish regardless if you change the rockwork or not. Once a pair is established, nothing changes. They will ALWAYS be the dominant pair.

I've heard of people cautioning against 2 mated pairs of clowns in 8' 400g tanks even if the host sites are on opposite ends of the tank- IMO if you stick a third clownfish with a mated pair in a 70g get ready for a big ammonia spike...

I do understand what happens with a dominant pair. I had a pair where I could not even put my hand in tank without upsetting them. I have also seen 3 pairs with 2 of them guarding eggs in same TANK. Yes this tank was at least 150 gals lots of rockwork and fish, but it was done. But My advice was not to do it. Like I said I would not do it because it would likely end in diasaster.

I think one of the most frustrating things in this particular forum is people who have not been around for a long enough time to see what happens when clowns truly mature give the advice, "I've seen it done, so you can add more than just a pair".
I will say that about 99.9% of the time it does not fare well, and the exceptions are usually due to sickness or similar reasons, UNLESS it is a pair and the offspring from the same clutch, and even then there will be some picking off.
Give your clowns time to find the nem.

Blackfoot clown are well know to be very aggressive. Often, when three are added as juveniles, only two survive. Even as juveniles they kill each other. Adult Blackfoot clown are well know to be extremely aggressive.

There are species of clowns that can be keep as a group, one female, one male and the rest juveniles, but Blackfoot Clown is not a species that this can be done most of the time.
