I am getting back into the hobby slowly and picked up a 12g jbj nano cube dx. It has 2 24w pc bulbs. Not too bad for the 12g softy tank. With that said I want the MH shimmer effect. I find pc bulbs dull looking. Would a 10w led light in the middle of the two 24w pc lights make the tank have a shimmer effect? Please let me know what you think. Ebay has a white light 10w led with heat sink and 10w driver for less than $15.
Will this driver power more than one 10w led? Will one led give it the shimmer? Or would something else added to stock lighting help?
