Will he calm down and if so, when? The flame hawk is really beautiful. Very bright red/orange. The minute I added him, the blenny went directly for him and has slowly chilled on him. He is still chasin' the poor hawk everywhere. He's finding his hiding spots to get away from him. Will the Lawnmower blenny relax after awhile?

He's never acted like that before with any other fish I have added. I have searched and apparently they are terrotorial towards other bottom dwellers or opportunists. I think he's startin to calm down a bit. Seems pretty common from what I have read. Would like to hear from someone first hand though.

My starry blenny was mad at my new midas blenny for a week. Now they're buddies, sharing barnacles next to each other. Try distracting your lawnmower blenny with an algae clip, and keep the lights off to help acclimate the flame hawk.

Good idea. Even the larger of the clown pais is giving him a hard time. Poor guy, cant catch a break. Gonna throw in some Nori.

Uh oh...cant find the Hawk. He definitely didnt jump. Could the lawnmower blenny kill him?
I am a little ****ed myself. The blenny is acting weird too. He's hiding in the back near his lil den.

Just found him in the corner overflow. Not sure how to get him, but I have a plastic wall going around the top....not sure how he got in there. Either way gotta try to shut off the pumps, close the drain valves, and pump the water out and reach in and grab him. Any other ideas?

how did the rescue operation go?
Well, I valved off the return and drain, then drained the overflow, and then when in with the net. Couldnt find him. Looked in the tank and he was lookin at me from INSIDE the tank. I am an IDIOT!!! Anyway, glad he's back. Created a plastic device to stop him from jumpin over.
