Adding Angel Advice

Quick Questions on mixing angels.

I have 300 gallon mixed tank which has a Singapore Angel (~3 inches )1.5 years in tank and a Golden Dwarf Angel (2 inches) 1 year in tank. All getting along.

Past weekend pick up a Blue Line ~3 inch as my show piece angel.

Singapore was nasty mean to BL. After 24hrs of abuse I caught Sing and put in Fuge. Several days later the BL has settled in slowly.. eating but active foraging. He is one nervous fish but seems to be buddies with golden. They are already swimming together.. made the golden a lot less reclusive. Nothing in tank bother the BL or Golden.

Question Do i dare try to add the Sing Back, If yes how long do i wait?

Thoughts?

thanks

Let the bl settle in...did you rearrange the lr? that will help immensely. when you reintroduce the sing, keep the lights off for a few days, feed often...def keep a close eye on the tank...with a tank your size, it should not be a problem..

thanks for all the advise.. unfortunately i can't rearrange the rock, or shall I say it's covered with corals and not interested in breaking it down.

As for lights off multiple days and impact to corals or anemone. I have a large a carpet which i make sure i very healthy plus lots of Bulbs. Any concern with no lights.

I do have a simple question. Do fish get have memory, in the sense will the Sing remember the tank? He is quite happy in fuge and gobbling up lot of pods and has a fair amount of space. I could leave him there for a month and be happy.

The Blue line is still very cautious and slow to eat even though nothing is bother him. I am way over feeding my tank to make sure he bulks up.. I can see the other fish growing before my eyes.

I get nervous since i am in a good stride 3+ years .. afraid 1 little fish brings the whole system down. Of course i like the Sing they are hard to feed and get heathly.. he is fat eating and very colorful.. Just want them to be friends.

My opinion is that the Singapore is going to lose his place in the natural hierarchy of your aquarium, after living for a period elsewhere, initially at least.I am certain that if you leave your rock in place,it will recognize the environment and inhabitants,on re introduction. It still gives your show piece time to establish it's place in your aquarium,in the meantime, before you reintroduce your sing.Leave him in the refugium,if he is happy, for a month. It won't hurt.I just bought a Singapore the other day and am waiting for delivery.
