Adding during Fallow?

Can I add corals during a Fallow period? I don't see why not since I don't plan on QTing corals in the future since the chance of them bringing in ich is low.

I've not heard about using undiluted Bayer. I mix at 5-10ml (1-2 teaspoons) per cup of tank water to make dip.

"Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer"
Which one of these? Sorry for all the questions just don't wanna kill my corals haha.

Those wont kill ich, but, as long as you are only adding corals with living tissue covering them and no hard surfaces for ich to attach to you'll be okay (no plugs/rocks).

To answer your question, pay attention to what you are ordering, you want liquid, not granules.

-I'd still use a normal QT procedure for my corals.. especially since people have had problems with Bayer killing their tank if it isn't rinsed really well..

+1

The top one. It's a liquid concentrate. The middle one looks like solid granules, and the bottom looks like "premixed" for normal use / likely not mixed at coral dip concentration / likely more expensive per ounce. The top one will last you a good while. :)

And do rinse afterwards. I dip for 5 minutes then rinse / soak in another bucket of just tank water for 10-15 minutes to help remove residue before returning frag to display.

I actually ordered revive instead, I figured it may be a little safer and had decent reviews. So do I just pull the corals off of there plates, dip them, then super glue them to some live rock in my tank?
