Adding second clown

I've had the large female for about 4 years...I'm not sure if her coloring is from my home made food I feed or do they all look nice when they are that old. The small male is more of an orange...I wonder if he will change colors as he ages.

I think your female is one of the "fancy" ocellaris from the Philippines like these: http://www.poppe-images.com/?t=11&family=POMACENTRIDAE&fullspecies=Amphiprion percula&catid=9
(ignor the scientific name they give there, it's wrong. There are no percula in Philippine waters, only ocellaris.)

It would be better to do a search on reefcentral.com there is a ton of information on it. Basically, it's a form of carbon dosing....feeding denitrifying bacteria and skimming it out in the form of nitrates. Additional forms of carbon dosing are biopellets, vinegar, and sugar. Do a search and they can explain it better than me.
