Adjustable Collection Cup....

My first SW tank w/ skimmer and have purchased the Remora AquaC Pro (H.O.B.)

I guess the big rubber band around the collection cup allows you to adjust the height...but what exactly am I looking for to make adjustments?

just set it so the cup does not fill up too fast. These skimmers tend to run wet & can suddenly fill up when you are not expecting it, the emergency overflow in the cup is a useful precaution if you have that.
