Adjusting flow on Tunze 6000

Hi, I purchased a Tunze 6000 without the 7091 controller, will be purchasing it next week when I get some cash. What kind of screwdriver do you recommend to adjust the flow of the tunze 6000? I would like to turn it down a tad til I get the controller. Which magnet is also recommended for the Tunze 6000? I see one for the 6080 and the 6200? Just wondering. By the way I love the flow it produces!!

I use a small screwdriver meant to tighten the screws on my glasses.

This is going to sound dumb, but you cand adjust the flow on the 6000? I have two of these and a 7095 controller. Where do I control the flow on the 6000?

If you have it connected to the controller you use the controller. Maybe you have a 6060 or 6080, those are not controllable.

I have a 6000. I know it can be controlled by the 7095, but I though someone said there is also a speed control on the 6000 itself.

Yes, there is, if you don't have a controller you can set the speed on the side of the driver box using a screwdriver, but with a controller this needs to be at full power.

Does a 6100 that is on a controller need to be at full power, or can the power be dropped down by adjusting the 6100 (to lower the minimum flow) and then controlled from there with the 7095?

What I'm wondering is this. The rated flow of the 6100 is ~1000 gph - ~ 3000 gph. And the rated flow for the 6000 is ~700 gph - ~1800 gph. I'm wondering if turning the screw on the 6100 down will lower the overall range of a 6100 to somewhere inbetween 700 and 1000 gph on the low end (say ~850) and then I could use the 7095 to step the flow between 850gph and some other top-end number.

A 7095 automatically overrides a driver setting and runs it at full power. Setting both can ruin the pump with a 7094 or 7091, the driver always needs to be at full power when I controller is used.
