Just goes to show you that just cuz they say it's not reef safe...... Doesn't mean it's true..... Also goes the other way too...... She was raised on spectrum pellet food by the previous owner...... This beautiful fish was being kept in a very small tank and I couldn't stand to see her pinned up...... Soni offered her my 200 sps/Lps reef .... Yes, I was nervous about doing it, but it was such a beautiful fish that I couldn't help it....... Here I am 14 months later..... What a fantastic reef fish!! She is an adult that is about 8-9 in in length, and she is completely hooked on spectrum pellet food!! I have clams galore, as well as everything els under the sun packed tight into my reef...... She won't touch it??? Crazy eh?

I have an 11" one in my reef for 1 year as well. Only thing that was eaten was zoas. All sps and everything else is fine.

I'm really surprised that yours doesn't bother your clam.

Nope, just lucky. Congrats! Gorgeous fish I'm sure...

Yup! and youve SURELY just jinxed yourself, and will go home to carnage of an angelic proportion.

Bear in mind, too often these fish "flip a switch", where they out of the blue start murdering inverts. Especially for a large fish. I ahd a male scribbled that was maybe 8 months into living in my freef before he up and decided that EVERYTHING was edible. Out of the blue. Congrats to you thus far, but dont waste all your energy on your victory dance. You may need some at some point to catch a fish!

Here are some pics of mine. Sorry for the low quality but all I have is my phone.

I'm making my 275 FOWLR and I'm setting up a 30"x30" cube for my sps. So I won't get to see if mine goes haywire on my corals...
